Ash's Wicker Park Tobacconist

Ash’s Tobacconist has been completely revamped and looks amazing. The store is clean, well organized, and fully stocked. They’ve added a food mart with frozen foods, cold drinks, snacks, and everyday household essentials, which makes it really convenient. The tobacco selection is excellent — cigarettes, vapes, kratom, CBD/THC products — and the walk-in humidor is a standout with fresh, well-maintained cigars. You can tell they’ve put real effort into improving the store. Friendly staff and a great overall experience.

WARNING: Molded Cigars. I recently visited this location to pick up a quick smoke and as soon as I entered the cigar room, the air was damp. First warning sign of an unregulated humidifier. From there, I noticed dozens of cigars covered in mold. I quickly informed the staff, as I figured they’d want to know, but the employee brushed it off saying “oh no, that’s just dust”…as if that would entice me to still purchase a cigar. I told him it was obvious the humidifier wasn’t working properly and he should check, but he didn’t seem to care. All that to say, you’ll never find me purchasing anything from here.

Horrible customer service!!! They only care about the sale not the customer or satisfaction of the sale! I paid $10 for a 5-pack of Backwood cigars! First, the followed me, every step, never letting me shop alone for myself, instead kept an eye on me like I was a criminal!! I asked the price, the cashier responded 7 something, when I got to the register he then said "$8.38 are using card?" I responded yes, and after swiping my card I saw $9.10 on my receipt. They charged me a fee for using my card but purposely didn't tell me the total amount until after the purchase. I asked to just refund the transaction but all sales are final. Instead of making sure the customer is informed and comfortable during the whole transaction they made me feel in the way and robbed. Will NEVER return again!!!
